Grade: BACASB 11
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of an officer at this level include:-
Providing integrated support services to County Assembly in terms of effective planning, policy analysis, research and innovation;
Providing advise on formulation, interpretation and application of research policies, procedures, rules and regulations;
Building and providing analytical research services to the County Assembly committees;
Spearheading the development of Departmental work plans and their effective implementation;
Analyzing policy recommendations from various Departments/ committees for inclusion in annual management reports; and
Monitoring and evaluation of all activities of the County Assembly.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an applicant must have:-
A relevant Masters degree or its equivalent from a recognized university;
Served for at least three (3) years in a research related areas;
Sound knowledge and understanding of policy research and analysis with evidence of published papers on topical issues; and
Demonstrated a high degree of administrative skills and managerial competence as reflected in work performance and results.
