Dining and Food Service Manager
Main Duties Responsibilities:
Supported by a robust team consisting of a Head Chef, Cooks and Stewards, the Dining and Food Service Manager will ensure that food and service delivery for both routine dining as well as dining events at the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa surpass the expectations of the customers.
Qualifications Experience:

A relevant catering qualification

A minimum 7 years food service experience, preferably within the hospitality industry

A focus and demonstrable experience of active control of food costs

Food safety qualifications including HACCP training

A passion for excellence in food service

A proactive manager, who ¡s also willing to be a team player

A thorough knowledge of cooking procedures, equipment in a well kitted kitchen, recipes and health and safety procedures

Experience of managing personnel — both professional cooks as well as cleaning staff

Excellent reporting and communication skills
