Ameis group of companies is a conglomerate and is seeking to have a website designer and whom will be absorbed into our team.
Period: 3-6 months’ probation:
Paid: – A small stipend of ksh. 5000 every month will be given to the candidate during the probation period.

What does the job entail?
Create and produce outstanding designs for digital projects
Web Graphic Design
Design and build interactive banners
Enhance existing client’s websites through improved design and functionality
Design and build new websites for new and existing clients
Design and build mobile versions of our clients’ websites
Search Engine and Social media Marketing
Developing e-commerce systems
Web Content Writing
Create and produce outstanding designs for digital projects
Web Graphic Design
Design and build interactive banners

Required Skills:
Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Flash, HTML, PHP, CSS, mySQL, jQuery
Mobile websites and application development.
Familiarity with CMS ieJoomla, WordPress, Drupal
Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer service experience.

Education :
Professional certification required in design-related discipline: Graphic or Web design.
1+ years of Web design experience
Proficient to expert in: Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML and CSS3
Thorough knowledge of WordPress
Rock solid skills in design, with an eye for typography, palette development, intuitive layout, and a pixel-level attention to detail.
Must understand how to follow brand guidelines.
MUST have an online portfolio with multiple examples of interactive design.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail is a must.
Candidate must be a self-directed team player able to communicate well, and have the ability to juggle multiple projects, proactively solve problems, deliver against tight-deadlines in a fast paced environment, and hit the ground running.
