The County Assembly Service Board of Laikipia County Assembly invites applications from suitably qualified Kenya citizens to fill the following vacant positions.
Drivers Grade I – (2 posts)
(a) Duties and responsibilities
• Driving a motor vehicle as authorized
• Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned
• Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicles systems
• Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
• Ensuring security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road
• Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical and brake systems, tyre pressure
• Safety of the passengers and/or goods therein
(b) Requirements for Appointment
• KCSE D plain;
• Defense Driving Certificate from Automobile Association of Kenya;
• Has passed Occupational Test II for Drivers
• Valid license for relevant class of vehicle;
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
