Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Nairobi Branch Manager
The Role
Drive the design, development, implementation and management of logistics solutions
Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems
Ascertain industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs and drive customer satisfaction
Work in conjunction with various parties such as business development, field support and customer service to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships
Track, analyze and communicate key performance metrics
Ensure compliance with statutory & company rules and regulations.
Undertake proper logistics planning to optimize existing resources.
Prepare, monitor and control operational budget
Ensure  adherence to health and safety standards, rules, government regulations and company policies and procedure
Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
Knowledge of customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
The applicant should possess the following qualifications:-
∙    Diploma in Logistics and Distribution
∙    Degree in Business Management
∙    Must have at least 5 years experience in the Logistics industry
∙    Be computer Literate
∙    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
