Organizational background
The World Food Programme Somalia activities include food assistance for nutrition, livelihoods, relief and emergency school feeding, while also supporting humanitarian air and logistics services, food security coordination and infrastructure rehabilitation projects.
This position is open to qualified Somali candidates with good knowledge of the local area. Female candidates in particular, are encouraged to apply.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of Security Guard Supervisor and under the overall Supervision of the WFP FSO/LSA and Head of Area Office the incumbent will undertake the following responsibilities:
•    Control entry and monitor security of the WFP’s premises pursuant to WFP policies and procedures and Standard Office Procedures;
•    Adhere to WFP policy and procedure for security access of local entities and visitors;
•    Respond to personnel and telephone enquiries;
•    Screen visitors for unauthorized material or equipment;
•    Immediately raise alarm in case of forceful entry by anyone party;
•    Log all movement of vehicles and equipment in/out of WFP premises;
•    Inspect vehicles;
•    Confirm with recipient letters/parcels/packages on delivery;
•    Maintain continuous surveillance of guard post throughout period of shift;
•    Carry out patrol of premises as instructed;
•    Investigate and report all incidents on WFP grounds that involve a breach of security procedures;
•    Provide emergency assistance;
•    Perform other security related duties as required;
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Secondary school education.
Experience:
Two years of security experience, and experience in driving various makes of cars.
Language:
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Somali language is a requirement.
Knowledge:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for bus, motorbikes and light vehicles; good knowledge of the city where the office is located.

Key Functions of the Job;
1. Investigate and Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of the Associations systems on quality internal control.
2. Carry out planned auditing activities in the various functions and projects to ensure adherence to policies, regulations and procedures
3. Conducts comprehensive investigations and prepare quality and timely reports containing observations and recommendations.
4. Ensure proper systems are established to warrant compliance with the Association’s policies, plans, procedures and regulation and that the Association conforms to the law of the country.
5. Carrying out independent assessments in the identification and management of financial, legal risks and asset risks.
Required Qualifications/Abilities/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in financial management with CPA (K). Master’s degree in Business Management (finance) shall be an added advantage.
Must be computer literate with ability to work with computerized Audit Techniques and Accounting / Financial applications.
Well-developed analytical skills, knowledge of risk management and internal audit standards will be essential.
Over 8 years public accounting experience with an accounting firm providing audit and accounting services in the NGO sector
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness and ability to travel.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Officer — Social Development will

The applicant must possess

have a working knowledge of financial management, especially of project budgeting and tracking and reporting of expenditure;
ability to work under tight deadlines, and high pressure situations;

Purpose of the Job:-

Key Duties and Responsibilities:-
Participate in strengthening existing M&E systems in the C&RH Program and at the AMREF Kenya Country Office level.
Support projects to set up M&E systems to capture key performance indicators for purposes of regular reporting and data use at the point of collection.
Provide technical input in preparation and review of donor and projects reports.
Act as the M&E technical lead for C&RH Program planning, monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability.
Conduct on-site and off-site mentorship and provide M&E support to Project Managers and their teams in the specific projects.
Support projects in implementation of quality improvement activities.
Support project implementation teams in operations research, documentation of lessons learnt and best practices.
Ensure Program integration and growth by participating in meetings, conferences and provide support in proposal development.
Qualifications and Competencies:-
The ideal candidate should have a first degree in Statistics, Social Sciences or its equivalent with four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Should have professional training in M&E.
The person should possess quantitative and qualitative skills, advanced report writing skills, excellent database management skills (SQL, Access, Excel), and exceptional analytical skills (STATA, SAS or SPSS).
Must have experience in project management and be conversant with various donor and government M&E systems.
Should be self-motivated, proactive, ability to prioritize and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
