The following vacancy have arisen in our establishment;
Loans Clerk – 2 POSTS
Key Duties
Register all loans received daily upon receipt;
Appraise/Reject all loans and salary advances as necessary.
Inform members of rejected loans and reasons thereof;
Update the system with loans approved by credit committee;
Append cheque numbers on all approved and paid loan forms;
Handle all loan enquiries from members;
Perform other duties assigned by the loan officer.
Skills Attributes and Competencies:
Strong ICT skills;
Good communication and inter personal skills;
Minimum Diploma in Co-operative management or its equivalent;
Minimum two years experience in a busy loans office preferably in a Sacco environment;
Age between 24 – 30 years.

Accounts Assistant – 1 Post
Reporting to the Accountant, the Accounts Assisstant shall have the following Main duties and responsibility:
Key Duties: 
Post financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system;
Enter, update, and/or retrieve accounting data from automated systems – online ATM banking module, point of sale and M-pesa online banking system;
Review on-line transactions for changes and accuracy and correct any errors;
Process payments and document such as invoices, journal vouchers, reimbursements and statements;
Reconcile transactions, financial data, and other information to an automated accounting system;
Review new procedures, manuals, and system enhancements and suggests revisions;
Establish on a daily basis, non performing loans communicate to the loanee and if necessary close the non performing accounts;
Update list of check off members and ensure their remittances are monitored daily;
Update lists of standing orders, direct debits, and any other forms of remittances outside the Check-off system;
Perform other duties assigned by the Accountant.
Skills, Attributes and Competencies:
Degree in Business Management or its equivalent;
Minimum CPA II or its equivalent;
Age between 27 – 35 years;
Excellent ICT skills;
Minimum 2 years experience in online bank reconciliation;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience in using ERP systems will be an added advantage.

Ke y Duties
Review the effectiveness of control systems, policies and standard operating procedures in Sacco operations;
Evaluate security and control systems that protect the intergrity, confidentiality and availability of information systems;
Ensure compliance with external requlating bodies and related regulations.
Evaluate the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of transaction processing and controls in business systems.
Review application systems and business procedures to determine if they are achieving business objectives.
Assist in developing audit plans and preparing audit reports.
Develop and maintain risk assessment profile
Review online transaction such as ATM transactions on real basis.
Assist in other financial and operational audits and projects
Any other duties that may be assigned by the Internal Auitor.
Skills Attributes and competencies:
Degree in Business Management or its equivalent;
CISA qualification mandatory;
Minimum CPA II or its equivalent;
Should possess excellent ICT skills:
Attention to detail;
Aged between 30-35 years;
Have minimum 3 years work experience in auditing in a computerized financial institution; should demonstrate team building, interpersonal and good communication and presentation skills;
Understanding of lending procedures, statutory and regulatory requirements will be an added advantage;

Chief of Party
Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party and various technical specialists for a USAID-funded program in Kenya.
This project will support the upcoming USAID Water Strategy objectives to institutionalize catalytic models of sustainable service delivery and strengthen governance for resilient and sustainable management of WASH services and water resources.
Chief of Party
Responsibilities:
Manage the project’s implementation, including overall responsibility for personnel and efficient budgeting and financial management.
Serve as the principal link between USAID, Tetra Tech, and other partners, including interactions with Government of Kenya officials and key figures in the water and wastewater sector; and
Ensure quality and timely submittal of all project deliverables.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in engineering, public administration/management, finance, or other relevant fields;
Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience as a Chief of Party or Project Director/Manager on large donor-funded projects; experience on USAID-funded projects preferred.
Minimum seven (7) years of experience with successful water, sanitation and hygiene projects or institutional strengthening programs;
Demonstrated experience in institutional strengthening of institutions, capacity building, market based approaches to infrastructure planning, and public outreach;
Demonstrated knowledge of management of local construction contracts;
Professional experience in East Africa required; professional experience in Kenya preferred;
Fluency in English required; knowledge of Kiswahiili highly desirable
