Payroll Manager – 1 Position
Kenya
This position is in management and will contribute to the implementation of specific talent management policies, processes and procedures by developing a progressive and compliant aligned strategy by ensure payroll administration and related service delivery in line with business objectives.
Job Profile
KPIs the role holder needs to deliver:-
Timely and accurate preparation and processing of payroll in line with policy, processes, procedures and payroll cycle
Accurate interpretation and input of instructions and information to payroll
Strict adherence to work and professional ethics including self- check audits of data integrity (input/output)
Drive payroll service delivery in line with internal and external SLAs to observe internal and external customer satisfaction
Ensure legislative and internal policy compliance, including on-time adherence to requirements
Preparing and presenting monthly payroll journals, reports and returns
Ensure continuous improvement in payroll processing and management using available systems
Manage and monitor standard staff deductions, final dues and drive compliance and accuracy
Managing, motivating and developing staff in the payroll and co-related area
Advising management on new requirement, best practice and cost effective measures in line with related business policies, processes and procedures

Self -motivated creative leader who demonstrates personal and professional integrity, Attention to details, humility and honesty
Preferred Functional Skills
Payroll strategy design and implementation, Internal controls and compliance, Tax Management, Knowledge of financial procedures and statutory legal requirements, Exceptional reporting, Ability to adhere to strict deadlines, Detail conscious, interpersonal skill, customer focus
Academic Professional qualifications, Experience
Bachelors in Commerce and/or Finance related areas, CPA III
Must have at-least 4 years of active experience in payroll management
Must be ready to provide a certificate of good conduct when requested
