General Motors East Africa Limited, the leading Automotive Company in the East Africa Region, has a Vacancy for a Security & Investigations Manager based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Reporting to the General Manager – Human Resources.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
Daily security and fire protection operations
Implementation of General Motors (GM) Global security policies and standards
Management of security technology systems including security surveillance, communication and access control systems
Identify risk and implement preventive measures to reduce identified risks
Initiate continuous improvement activities to ensure quality and cost-effective security and fire services
Provide quality assurance for purchased security and fire protection services and Transport
Support the GM Global Security staff with security investigations
Implementation of security, fire and emergency response bills of process and Business continuity plans
Advising Country Leadership, GM Regional Security Manager and GM Global Security leadership regarding important security and fire related incidents and activities
Employee Transport and Company Fleet Management
Supporting Labour Relations activities
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate must have the following minimum requirements:
Bachelors Degree, Second Class (Upper Division)
At least seven years relevant working experience in a Multinational environment
Strategic agility, analytical proficiency and IT Savvy
Excellent communication skills
MBA will be an added advantage
