The Bank has exciting opportunities for dynamic, experienced, self driven, result oriented professionals to fill the following positions;
Manager Cash Operations
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in meeting our clients’ cash operations processing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist corporate clients with detailed and necessary account information for better and efficient account reconciliation services;
Ensure prompt processing of transactions that corporate clients have placed through advanced web services;
Facilitate local and international remittance of payments through SWIFT and RTGS systems;
Coordinate reporting and processing of cash concentration services to corporate clients;
Facilitate processing of bulk payments for corporate clients through cheques, EFT and mobile payment services;
Oversee the administration and management of corporate sweep; netting and pooling and cash collection services for corporate clients;
Prepare and implement work schedules for the corporate cash operations department;
Assess the risk levels within corporate cash operations department and come up with necessary controls and mitigations;
Meet turnaround times as per service level agreements and productivity standards.
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree in a business field.
Professional qualification – CPA/ACCA.
Minimum 7 years of experience, 3 of which must be in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of the Global Banking and Financial Services Industry, and International Cash and Payment Systems including SWIFT KEPSS.
Good understanding of transactional banking products, activity flows, systems, associated risks, applicable rules and regulations.
Experience in use of Internet banking systems.
Other Requirements
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in use of information technology.
