Vacancy- Asst. HR Manager

An exciting and challenging career opportunity has arisen in our HR Department. We invite applicants who are performance driven, possess excellent transferable skills and demonstrable track records of achievement in past roles.
Based in Mombasa and reporting to the HR Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas:-
1. Plan and coordinate staff recruitment, selection and exit as need arises –mostly monthly
2. Monitor induction of new staff, their probation and confirmation-monthly
3. Carry out training need analysis and formulate a training schedule-annually
4. Provide proposal for CBA in liaison with HRM Kenya
5. Implement HR policies while ensuring compliance with the law-daily
6. Approve staff leave, Sick off and permission -daily
7. Implement the organization’s performance management system
8. Conduct staff appraisal
9. Plan staff succession and career development
10. Staff discipline management-daily
11. In liaison with other managers, administer staff welfare matters relating to medical schemes pension and ensuring required documentation is in place.
The applicant should possess the following qualifications:-
Degree in HR or related field
Diploma in HR management
Member of IHRM(K)
Must – Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR and 2 years’ experience in a management position .

· Negotiation skills
· Analytical
· Counseling skills
