Duties & Responsibilities
Within the limits of delegated authority, the Movement and Control Assistant will be responsible for all assistant duties in
Movement control:
Maintain detailed files and database of all incoming and outgoing cargo;
Act as focal point between Kenya and UNMISS office.
All other movement control duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Completion of secondary school education. College diploma in the relevant discipline is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, airline companies and/or customs
clearing agencies is required.

Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in
English is required.
Location: UNMISS Liaison Office, Mombasa, Kenya.
